No thewy don't, once they have the license they can remake the truck if they want (in literal words of devs, they can make almost all they want). At most, they have to SHOW the new model to manufacturer so they can verify all the terms of the licensing agreement are meet.

The problem of compare reworking maps with reworking trucks is manpower. Rework a truck takes the same amount of manpower than making a new truck. So, every reworked truck released is a new truck that won't be released in that time period. And the game still lacks LOTS of trucks people would like to see in. So, reworking trucks is a zero-sum gain activity.

To rework maps they just take a very small amount of people (compared with the amount of a new map DLC) and put them to work into background with no deadline. The amount of people is so small that isn't going to noticeably affect the time needed to release the new map DLC. So we could have the reworks in small doses while new mapped zones without delay new mapped zones.

If it doesn't include the older Renault's I'm probably gonna pass on buying it, since that probably would be the highlight of the DLC to have all trucks covered with tuning parts, but still will have to wait and see.

except for Scania every other DLC was named after a truck range, so there is no Renault Tuning DLC if we follow this logic, so it most likely is Renault T Tuning pack

Three models completely un-related to each other, other than the fact they're all from the same brand. They share no visual parts between them and the only thing similar are the power plants... It makes a lot of sense to do just one model per pack, because if they didn't, then SCS would have to worry about covering three trucks at once and the pack would pretty much feel rushed and un-polished (Just like the FH pack did, even tho they were both FH's).

Scania TP was named after the logo, so Renault pack could be "French Diamond Tuning Pack" i. e.

Wasn't that the case with Mighty Griffin too?

Uhh, no. R '09 and Streamline are identical to each other so one part that works for the '09 fits the streamline perfectly.

And the NG Scania S and R came way after the first iteration of the Mighty Griffin DLC and their parts are also 1/1 identical to each other... Only thing SCS had to make it twice was the grill and that is it.

The 5 and 6 series/streamline are definitely real things, though the difference between them is just a facelift, there are large differenced between it and the 4 series. The one in-game is a 6 series (the one in ETS1 was a 5 series).

Scania 4 Series - 1995 to 2004

Scania 5 Series - 2004 to 2009

Scania 6 Series/Steamline - 2009 to 2016

This is why sometimes the Next Gen is referred to as the 7 Series even though officially it isnt called that
