Remove reflection when using Truckpaint shader?

#1 Post by Digital X » 05 Jun 2022 04:16

Can this be done? I have 2 chassis types (one AO baked with a red colour, and one AO baked using truckpaint)

I want the truckpaint chassis to have none, or very little reflection as it being shiny just looks weird for a chassis.

The red AO baked chassis looks fine, but the truckpaint chassis has reflection that I'd rather remove if possible.

Here's the truckpaint chassis: https://i.imgur.com/0w8m8VJ.jpg

If this isn't possible then I'll change it another shader and use a more common colour instead.

You can edit the alpha channel of the ao texture.
Black = no reflection
White = full reflection

OK thanks will try those.

Edit: Fuzzy reflection is perfect thank you so much. Can't believe I didn't think about changing reflections...
