These riots on the Kosovo-Serbia border happen on-and-off every couple of months. It will probably ease up in a week or so.

@jackalnxt The riots on the Kosovo-Serbia border are slightly more complicated... It's all about licence plates. But behind this 'small' problem lies a much, much bigger problem: Serbia doesn't recognize Kosovo as an independent republic.
Kosovo wants Serbian cars to have RKS (Republic of Kosovo) on their licence plates, starting from August, 1st 2022. This implies that Serbia has to recognize Kosovo as an independent republic, and that's not what Serbia wants. So that's why there are riots at the borders. Due to those riots Kosovo decided to postpone the new measures to September, 1st 2022. Guess what will happen around September, 1st... New riots. And/or bigger riots. Which could lead to an escalation of the situation.

Read here for some background information from April, 2022.

Who knew that the next point of tension in the relations between Serbia and Kosovo would actually directly pertain to how SCS is going to portray the region in their game :? Unless they implement dynamic plate spawning to get plates from neighboring countries in the game, they'll have to spawn Kosovar plates in the Serb areas of Kosovo. Which would be inaccurate to real life unless this situation is magically resolved with compliance across the board in favor of Kosovar plates by the time West Balkans releases. So my previous assertion that "all SCS has to do is depict the situation as it is on the ground and no one can blame them", is now made moot by an engine limitation.

This would be an excellent opportunity for SCS to get their butt in gear and implement a long-needed feature, being able to have plates from multiple different countries/states spawn in the same area. Then they could spawn both plates and it would be accurate to real life.

This would also be a huge boon on the ATS side, as it could open the door for SCS or at least modders to spawn plates from the rest of the country, as well as alternate and vanity plates too. And SCS could then implement all the other primary Montana plates along with the arbitrary one they seem to have picked.

About Serbia-kosovo,about future map,how it will look, and to everyone who worries about what will happen and what won't,as for who will be and who won't be,one thing is certain.
Serbia is an internationally recognized country, kosovo is not,and it won't be.
Internationally unrecognized countries have no place here.
If its hurts their sponsors, that's their problem, kosovo doesn't even have to be,nothing will be much lost.

It's a bit complicated. I should have said something like this: "Kosovo wants Serbian cars to have RKS (Republic of Kosovo) on their licence plates, as soon as those Serbian cars enter Kosovo."
It started in 2011 with the agreement that Kosovan cars only can enter Serbia when they have a licence plate with KS (Kosovo) and not with RKS (Republic of Kosovo). And now Kosovo wants to do the same, with the difference that Serbian cars must have RKS and not KS on their licence plates as soon as they enter Kosovo...

If you believe me,hurts my something elbow, what does Czech government think.

It's their game, let them put whatever they want.

One thing is certain, kosovo is an unrecognized apostate state,if they want it in ETS2,let them put it.

97 of 193 UN member states, 22 of 27 EU member states, 26 of 30 NATO members and 31 of 57 Organisation for Islamic Cooperation members recognise Kosovo as a state.
