Re: West Balkans Expansion Discussion
What if SCS does not add the Code for Kosovo or Serbia on the plates or make it unreadable.
So that it is not possible to say to which country this car belongs to but still looks fine.

If something is not round, it has then edges or it is broken.

SCS in its announcement about WB , they said that Kosovo will be among the new expansion , so why is the discussion on this issue ?

The discussion is about vehicle plates generated inside Serbia/Kosovo.
A technicality of the game engine completely in SCS' hands.

Come on, not this discussion again...

All of these countries have autonomy/independence movements (Slovakia: Hungarians; Ukraine: Russians; Spain: Catalans, Basques; Greece: see Cyprus; Romania: Hungarians; Cyprus: Turks). They don't recognise Kosovo because that would be a Get Out of the Country Free card for their own ethnic minorities.
Given that they referred to Kosovo in the announcement as a country, I'm guessing it will be treated as a country regarding border crossings, license plates, signage, and any other aspects.
When it comes to the countries you will be able to see in this DLC, it will be quite a challenge for us, as we are bringing in several of them! Namely, they are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

Re: West Balkans Expansion Discussion
I must admit I was quite excited to learn that WB is going to be next DLC, since my country will now be finally represented in game. I do have promods version until now, but I'm sure SCS will do a great job, although maybe not as dense as promods did. It's a bummer though that they decided not to include Greece with it, since it is a very nice country with some pretty interesting roads and scenery. Hopefully we will get Greece soon after.
As for my speculation regarding cities in my state I believe Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Osijek, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Slavonski Brod will certainly be included, but I'd also like to see Šibenik, Pula, Virovitica or Koprivnica and Varaždin (if not marked those could be scenic cities at least).

I have those first 6 as marked cities for sure. Slavonski Brod, I like that too. Nice break between Zagreb and Belgrade. Otherwise it would be weird to have no marked cities on E70 between them. Not sure about the others being marked. Maybe Pula gets a small dot for the Venice ferry but IDK if trucks use that. But I'd rather see Trieste and Rijeka get plenty of space, personally.Sovereign 89 wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022 19:53 As for my speculation regarding cities in my state I believe Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Osijek, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Slavonski Brod will certainly be included, but I'd also like to see Šibenik, Pula, Virovitica or Koprivnica and Varaždin (if not marked those could be scenic cities at least).
Croatia should be a fun country to get. Lots of geographic diversity, some good sized cities, and hopefully we get as much of the Adriatic Highway as they can give us.

Re: West Balkans Expansion Discussion
When it comes to Slovakia (my country), the fact that it does not recognize Kosovo is only a political matter, I recognize Kosovo as a state, but our government is just a bunch of incompetent, stupid, bums, so they do not recognize Kosovo
Re: West Balkans Expansion Discussion
if Kosovo have their own plates, road signals, et... SCS should build as it is in real life, no more no less

The Pécs-Osijek-Brod line might be difficult to fit, but they might be able to do it. Šibenik, Varaždin and Virovitica are possible, but definitely small dot cities if included. I'm quite sure Pula is not going to be included, Rijeka, Koper and Trieste already pose a challenge in that region. Koprivnica is too far from either major road (the Hungary-Croatia border will get 3 crossings in the best case: Letenye; Udvar or Drávaszabolcs; and maybe Barcs).oldmanclippy wrote: ↑02 Aug 2022 23:19 I have those first 6 as marked cities for sure.
