Just because they join Schengen doesn't mean that they'll actually remove all birder controls. Oficially Hungary is Schengen too yet no matter where you try to leave or enter you'll have to go through a control, so it could very well be that the it'll be the same case with Croatia.

Between Austria and Slovenia at the motorway "A9" there is still a border control building.
And I am sure Slovenia is also part of Schengen.
If something is not round, it has then edges or it is broken.

Yeah it might just be as simple as removing the need to stop, I imagine the buildings won't get torn down on day 1. Depends on how excited Croatia is about joining Schengen.

Of course the physical border controls won't be torn down right away, but it's likely they will evolve in look and purpose, and it'd be really cool to see that evolution happen in-game.

It seems like we're approaching the point where the focus will be on Montana full steam ahead for the next month or two, but I'd still like to see a West Balkans blog before Montana releases. Something to check in on the progress. Nature blogs are a good starting point, since landscaping is generally the quickest part of map development.
