Is good to know that they are working on it, phew! I'm telling you, we won't see more blogs until Oklahoma is released. West Balkans will be released in September or October, even by the end of the year won't be surprising. When I watched the Christmas stream, I thought that West Balkans will be released at this time already, now as time goes, we are farther away, and it's obvious that something is not going very well in development so they are throwing Oklahoma and Switzerland to calm at least part of the community.

I've just checked how long did ATS players waited for Texas, and it's 1 year and 8 months. Maybe the same thing will happen with West Balkans, the new "Texas" for ETS2... :D

Ćevapčići, here it can be bought in shops.
WB will come. And I'll enjoy driving there.

Why did not that road get in?

Don't read my mind because that's totally me when it's out.
Hell, it may be the first dlc I'll buy for full price (assuming I'll get a decent paying job by the time it's out). And that says a lot given I can't be bothered with buying Iberia even at -50%.

I don't know why people expect West Balkans to release in mid 2023, IMO it won't be released earlier than late 2023. This DLC was teased way earlier than it should be because of the whole HoR situation and SCS had to blog something about ETS2. Also newer DLCs are way larger in scope and take longer (Iberia took almost 1.5 year, HoR probably also took take the same amount of time to complete and West Balkans is even more complex than these two DLCs due to having different 8 countries).

BTW I'm hoping that today there will be some West Balkan blog, because the last one was a month ago.

That's why I always explore new maps bobtailing at 30 Km/H, traffic 0 ;)

@velles Exactly, they needed something to cover up the situation with Heart of Russia. They can't change my mind because the frequency of blogs shows exactly that, after one year since the first announcement we are still with one blog per month. So, as I said, the best-case scenario would be by the end of this year.

Speaking about the next blog, I wouldn't be surprised to see the third blog about Oklahoma, nine days have passed since the last blog and it looks like Oklahoma will be the first map expansion released this year.

I don't expect to see two blogs per month until July or August, again, I would really like to see SCS proving me wrong but everything shows the opposite way.

Adriatic Sea Team, I would be surprised if Oklahoma is not the first to release this year.
How the border areas look when next patch beta arrives, will tell a bit on what possible timeline we can expect WB.

gaillard, sometimes I check stuff in the map editor too.

Or developer camera, when the truck is parked somewhere.
