not even Iberia had people this obsessed with it and it was THE most requested DLC for the game

Because of the amount of potential players living there and also the fact that you can't expand further west than that (unless you count Iceland).
For me personally it's always the east. I saw the pictures in this new post and once again I felt like home, even though I'm nowhere near the Balkans.
