Maybe they had to change some things like they had in Texas.

Somewhere in the Balkans has been a new motorway opened. Maybe SCS wanted to wait until they could find pictures or videos of the new roads to add them in the game.
If something is not round, it has then edges or it is broken.

They can always add missing pieces at a later time, just like they did before

A couple of times.
Here's hoping that they won't abandon WB after release, like they did with the others in the east.

Road to Black Sea, it could use a few added roads.
Baltic Sea, it has a nice amount of roads.

SCS will do full production of the DLC, Evil_Jason.
For specific roads, they might, maybe, delay a bit, but instead work on other areas. Then finish those other roads. So, no worries, regarding the roads.

@Shiva Usually they do make a blog for the other game very shortly after a DLC release.

West Balkans blog 5 days after Montana
Heart of Russia blog 3 days after Wyoming
Wyoming blog 6 days after Iberia
Iberia blog 2 days after Colorado
Iberia blog 14 days after Idaho
Idaho announcement blog 40 days after Road to the Black Sea
Road to the Black Sea blog 12 days after Utah
Road to the Black Seablog 2 days after Washington
Washington announcement blog 57 days after Beyond the Baltic Sea
Beyond the Baltic Seablog 12 days after Oregon
Oregon blog 58 days after Italia
Italia blog 11 days after New Mexico
ATS Rescale blog 7 days after Vive la France (I'm counting this, but if you must know it was 59 days until the New Mexico announcement blog so we're still in outlier territory)
Vive la France blog 7 days after Arizona
Vive la France announcement blog 16 days after ATS
ATS blog 39 days after Scandinavia
ATS blog 7 days after Going East

So as long as the next DLC for the other game has been announced when another DLC is launching, with only one exception following Scandinavia's release we have gotten a blog for that other game between 2 and 14 days later. It's only been 12 days, so hopefully a West Balkans blog comes this week

"shortly" is very vague. By the looks of it, the windows is between two and 58 days.
And 58 days is nearly two months.
Regardless, it will come when it's time for it to come. Though it didn't come by unnoticed that ETS posts that weren't about regular game updates, were quite rare in recent months.

You didn't read my post. I said as long as the DLC for the other game has been announced, it's 2-14 days. The long gaps were when the DLC for the other game wasn't yet announced.

Shiva wrote: 27 Nov 2022 12:23 Ain't it usually quieter around other map DLC's, around the latest map DLC release.
I still count it as Texas time.
But that might change, either today, or in a few days.
That just dont hold up when they announce Oklahoma one week after Texas.

*Three months after Montana.

But in all seriousness, things are pretty quiet regarding the Balkans. Quite unusual for an ETS2 DLC I'd say ...
