Missed Opportunities: Cargo Options Around the Map
The goal of this and the other similarly named thread is point out areas where SCS can improve the game with minimal effort. For those examples, by removing gates (and in some cases adding triggers) to allow players access to the many great spots on the map that are blocked by walls. Here, to point out the large number of map objects that could be quickly turned into cargo. Some of these need some model improvements, but others could be used as is.
Many of us want cargo: how about starting with what already exists.

In these examples, the metal rolls at least in my opinion could be used as is; the propane tanks need a couple more polies, and the IBC tanks could use a 3d pallet instead of the 2d. The wooden crates look decent as well.
A handful of additional examples:
For this top one, that campshack would make a great oversize stepdeck load.

Larger stuff like this crane could be split up and turned into a package of loads that's part of one contract. Then said contract could be handled either by one player, with the help of AI drivers, or in convoy mode with several players each hauling one piece.

Re: Missed Opportunities: Cargo Options Around the Map
There’s already a thread somewhere that points out all the assets in the game that could be cargoes. Not sure where exactly, but I think @flight50 could point you towards it.

Ah ok, sounds good: if it's exactly the same, I'll shut this one down and post there.
Just trying to bring some attention to what seems like a "missed opportunity": someone already put in the work to model all of this stuff. It would be nice to haul some of it.

Re: Missed Opportunities: Cargo Options Around the Map
Howey's is a discussion about whether there should be a dedicated cargo team with a lot of off topic discussion about cargo.
This one is clearer as to what the topic is about.

Small sheds would make a perfect oversized load. They aren't super big, but they are a bit awkward.

Found some new ones today: this Steeler facility produces storage tanks. Would be nice to be able to haul some of the unfinished and finished products.
