SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

augubor wrote: 23 Jun 2022 08:36 Project Texas is hight quality, detailed map mod for American truck simulator which focus on adding new areas of upcoming Texas dlc to the game.

To launch Project Texas dlc New Mexico is required. No more mods are required for it to work fine.

Project Texas is compatible with a majority of ATS map mods, such as:

REFORMA

GREAT AMERICA

PROJECT BETTER ARIZONA

PROMODS CANADA

ALASKA MAP MOD

MONTANA EXPANSION

SAN RAFAEL ADD-ON (upcoming our team map mod)

PACIFIC MAP

some other map mods

Map might be incompatible with C2C map mod, since road connection is needed. If our map will be popular, we promise to create a road connection.

Load order is not important, but in big map combos we recomment to place Project Texas under REFORMA map mod.

This is first official Project Texas map mod version, which could have some bugs. We will try to fix all reported bugs as soon as possible

I would love for this to be compatible with C2C due to the fact that C2C Texas is not "built" up at all. Its very basic/dry no scenery Nothing. LOL Like Dallas is just a bunch of buildings next to roads and basic pixel grass around that is flat. Please make this compatible with C2C Thanks.

For those asking for a connection to C2C, these parts are already included in C2C so there is no need.

But everyone is gonna demand it. So I might do the work myself if I have to.
Nothing to say here anymore.

So he basically kept the Roads and improved the surroundings?
Also, just put it over C2C in a map combo should do the trick?

Except a road connection might not exist, so I see why some compatibility patch would need to be made.

I guess a Road connection could be needed, I made a test profile with C2C and Texas above it - there are small gaps tho but both ends are still aligned more or less correct to each other :D

What is different if you exclude Texas?

Nothing wrong with C2C in general, it's just Texas is pretty "raw".
