I have problems with framerate in Billings too. Even just flying around there with the dev cam without the truck, I get lots of stuttering.

Strange!
I keep a (capped) consistent 70fps all over the DLC, Billings included....
Any particular place it happens frequently? Curious to check.
My computer is average, with a simple GTX1070 (simple=not TI).
FWIW the game disk is an SSD.

I haven't been getting any significant stutters in Montana either, and I also use an SSD. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Could be. My laptop has an HDD, and I do experience stuttering in Billings. I don't think I experienced stuttering in other places, at least not as severe as Billings.

I have an M.2. SSD, still get stuttering. I feel like it's either a configuration problem, or some sort of software interference maybe? Strange it only happens in Montana though... :?:

Not really strange. It happens with the newest dlc's all the time. That's the reason behind bug reports so that the devs can further optimize it. They don't know specifics until a dlc releases for the masses. They can't catch everything in testing. Its more of us with various pc specs than it is for testers. Image what Texas is gonna be like........much worse for many people.

Interestingly, the Montana and New Mexico DLCs supposedly have identical system requirements according to Steam (aside from storage). One would expect at least the recommended reqs to increase over time.

That may not happen until the game engine is updated.
