they removed all direct mounted 5th wheels from the Scanias except the 4x2, this one is still direct mounted but the other chassis now have all a mounting plate

not really, it is an option from Scania to have a direct mounted 5th wheel, but mostly not used, at least the scanned model for reference had a slider on it

Direct mounted 5th wheel on scanias is only available if rear suspension has 4 airbags, thus, 6x chassis shouldn't have those

Nah, good quality 5th wheels would look really wierd on old boxy chassis

In all seriousness though.. yeah, those new parts would look seriously out of place on most of those. They do look a bit iffy even on the Renault T and it's old style chassis models.
However, it would be nice to see new ones on the MAN E6 and Daf XG.

the DAF already have a good 5th wheel, it is just unbranded

You guys made me jump on this beta for a 5th wheel, ffs. yeah, My Renault T looks much better now. Neat.
