Re: ETS2 1.45 Discussion
Hey all. I don't think I got this thing of the JOST 5th wheel system. I drive a Scania S-series but I can't add this feature if I try to do it in a repair center. Is it normal? Reading the changelog I've had understood it was possible to use it on the Scania S-series. Do I miss anything?
Thank you all for your patience, hope the question hadn't been replied yet.

I'm from Italy, sorry if my English is flawed!
Re: ETS2 1.45 Discussion
You are probably using some mod that doesn't have Jost 5th wheel included

Re: ETS2 1.45 Discussion
@Some newbie driver In the Netherlands and some other countries you'll see the bigger trailers sometimes. Mostly where the weight limits are higher they use them for motorway services. Or to fill up the big truck only pumps (sadly missing in game) like AS24 , Shell Trucks Only and most brands have them. Or with more brands at one pump like G&V in Belgium.
But they're not used for international work like in game.
Hopefully 1 day we get unmanned big pumps on a industrial estate to fill up.
And real truckstops, not the motorway services where in real life not a lot of truck drivers fill up or go to to eat.

Re: ETS2 1.45 Discussion
I have noticed 2 seemingly undocumented tweaks in 1.45, both if then speed related. Can any of you hardcore players guess what they might be?
Re: ETS2 1.45 Discussion
I just finished checking 1.45 (I don't do betas or any online things) and I have to say I'm very impressed by Hanover and the Krone factory.
If that and the new Austria are the results of compressing things 1:20, well... go on.
Eagerly waiting for the next city.
But please don't shrink GB lower than 1:15. It's FINE.

@HRTrucking thanks for that info. Unfortunately, I thing the game is far far away to include that kind of more "local" versions of vehicles. Like the higher trailer of the UK (the current livestock one has the days counted for sure).
And 100% agree with gaillard about UK scale. There's nothing wrong on it being different, no need to cut it down just for the sake of uniformity.
Regards
