ETS2 1.46 Speculation Thread
Re: ETS2 1.46 Speculation Thread
For the RttBS DLC, if one road could be added I think the most needed one would be the E81 or DN7 between Hunedoara and Pitesti, AKA the Olt Valley. It's basically the main connection between Bucharest and Central Europe, and its absence on the DLC release was pretty surprising. DN1 between Sebeş and Bucharest would also be nice but I don't think there's enough space for it, especially between Brașov and Bucharest. Another good road to add would be the E574 or DN11 between Brașov and Bacău, which would end the biggest empty space inside the RttBS road network. What I see more likely is the addition of some additional places once the West Balkans DLC releases, in a similar way to those new roads and cities that were added to France. Blagoevgrad could be a good addition to Bulgaria due to its connection and proximity with North Macedonia.
For the Iberia DLC I'd say the most needed road would be the E7 between Zaragoza and Pau. The need for a third connection between France and Spain has been commented several times before, and the empty space between the coastal highways is still the biggest empty area in the game, with a surface bigger than Switzerland. And IMO some bits of the Pyrenees should be in the game, after all they are the fourth highest mountain range in Europe after the Caucasus, the Alps and Sierra Nevada (The Spanish Sierra Nevada covers a too small area to be properly shown in the game). There is also a closed road northwest of Sevilla (N-435) that goes on for a surprisingly long distance when checked with the dev cam, I don't know if that one could also come one day.
That said, I don't know any if these additions are very likely for 1.46. Any of them would be welcomed, but I think for next version what's more likely is the rework of another German city, maybe München or Stuttgart.

I wonder if 1.46 will be the anniversary update or if there will be a 1.47 update. Because if the 1.46 IS the 10th Anniversary update then it's gotta be big, right? I mean, they're surely cooking something. Surprise rework of older trucks? Some more map rework? New features, more purchasable trailers? DirectX12? No one knows, only the SCS gods.

Fuel tank customization would be adding chrome, changing the shape of the tank and other things people already make in mods?

@OzembuchVRICI The new $9.99 10th Anniversary Paint Pack is the best gift that #BestCommunityEver deserves!

Hopefully they get started on a Benelux or GB rework
