General ATS/ETS2 Suggestion, even less 3D green "things"

I'm very glad the road blocks were able to be disabled by preference. I'd suggest to followup from this and allow us to disable more 3D green "things" such as fuel station Jerry can, Weigh bridge and even where the truck's suppose to be parked at the end of the journey/trailer pickup point. This essentially adds a hardened layer for those who wish to challenge themself. Who's up for the challenge :mrgreen:

Agreed, although this is something that can very easily be done with a free mod available on the workshop that any player could add to their game. I almost kinda like that SCS has them really visible, and if I want them off I just use a mod. The one by DaStrobel is great. It's really the kind of lightweight mod that even people that rarely use mods could benefit from having in their game if they want those hidden.

@OP, if you use ingame console, you could disable these 3D markers from the following parameter,
g_show_game_elements 0

In that case they become completely invisible, which makes it difficult to even find them in places. Remember the game is very sensitive to activating these triggers and if your truck is off just a couple of centimeters to the left or right they wont activate.

Mods like these are really the better option, making them neat and discrete but still there to be seen:

Yes, if the OP wants the 3d markers to make way for something more common & immersive, then mods are the way to go. I myself use Reinhard's sewer mod that replaces these 3d markers. But as the OP mentions, disabling the 3d markers to make it more challenging, then the console command would serve him better than a mod or make his session miserable :mrgreen: :lol:

i wish this game let u bobtail then pick up a empty and drive the empty over to a shipper to get loaded and then make u haul the loaded trailer to the drop off-ats game only

You may be right. I haven't used the Photo Mode much in the past year or so

Let the games begin boys :lol: :o thanks, I will try this "hardcore" mode. I know coupling the trailer always leaves you wondering, was I off, how is that possible is not coupled after 10 attempts.....
