Thanks, yes DX12 has to wait until the engine supports multi core otherwise you wuill have to reimplement the DX12 api

It wouldn't be feasible either. The map teams are already working on updating older areas and working on new ones, and working at a 1:10 scale would likely quadruple their workload. That's not including the man hours that might be required to convert the pre-existing map to 1:10.

Question for you all. Sorry if it was already mentioned in this thread.
Adding -DX12 to the launch options in Steam is something I do for Train Sim World 2 and 3. It works wonders with my hardware and creates a smoother, more enjoyable experience. Train Sim World does not officially support DX12 either.
The other night it dawned on me to try this with ATS. I added the -DX12 to the launch options and the game did load up successfully, however did not have time to play test it at that particular moment.
Has anyone ever tried that for ATS, and if so, does it work and does it make a difference?

Will scs ever switch to dx12 and add ray tracing? I'd also like dlss as well! this game is so outdated!
Nothing to say here anymore.

DLSS is only possible with RTX cards
Please be a bit realistic

FSR 2.0/1 is not out of possibility and it would be usefull for those with not so "top tier" hardware, and you can use it on all GPUs... but DLSS is not feasible... Too much restrictions on that one...

XeSS while it can run on any GPU, it uses somewhat similar rendering technique as DLSS and outside of Arc GPU it has limited effectiveness...

As long as it doesn't cause problems for older HW
I do doubt that SCS will use techniques not relevant for many players
My next step up is a free 2nd hand GTX 2070 after other upgrades in the family

Re: Next Generation Of The Game Engine And DX12 Support
Good evening, I saw a video of ETS2, in which the comparison between the active and deactivated RTX was made.
Since I bought the MSI RTX 3070 TI Gaming X Trio (it should arrive between the 20th and 25th of this month), I wanted to know if the game actually supports RTX and if I can activate it from the game settings (also applies to ATS).
If you want I can share the video, maybe not being an expert you can tell me if it is a graphic mod or the real RTX.
Thank you very much and sorry for the ignorance on the subject, but I currently have a 1050TI, which supports DX12, at least in the technical specifications it says so.
