[REL] Western Star 57X 48 Inch XT Sleeper

This mod adds the def files for the 48 inch sleeper and its related accessories.

On release of the 57x, SCS included 2 cabins, but there are 3.

The 48inch XT flat top exists in the game files with all accessories, but no definitions.
It was obviously cut from the game rather late in the development of the truck, due to Daimler(parent of both Freightliner and WS) discontinuing the 48 inch because of real-life parts shortages.

The real-life 57X will most likely not be released with the 48inch unfortunately. This mod will continue to be here though to offer a gimplse into a world with the 48 inch on the 57x. Should SCS eventaully remove the files for it, I have a backup on my computer and will restore the mod with the files.

To be clear, this mod contains no content files whatsovever. Only definitions, all the files are currently in the 57x dlc package. It will not work without the 57x installed.

shame that for what we know, the 48in sleeper was cancelled for the 57X

I was tremendously disappointed I had to wait until level 25 to unlock a sleeper version of what is currently my favourite truck in game. You saved this truck for me.

Hey

I was a bit sad not having any mid sized sleeper Cab for the 57x ingame so I left it behind for some time. I found about your Mod recently and thats exactly what I was looking for. I love the kind it looks.

But I have some bugs found that my need to fixed.

First of all its the Navigation System. I tested it on a clean new savegame to make sure there isnt a modconflict. But even there it looks like this:

When on the other Cabins it looks normal.

Last are the Paintjobs, the textures are missing sadly. None of the custom ones work.
