The Dakotas (North and South) Discussion Thread
Re: The Dakotas (North and South) Discussion Thread
I'll go one step further than farm to farm. They can be transported to rail yards and imported/exports at sea ports.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Trains I get, but are bee colonies regularly transported by ship? Maybe I take a different view of things living on an Island Nation, but it seems it'd be more of a biosecurity concern. Won't complain with seaports either way, but now I'm curious lol.

To be honest, I have no idea. I'd have to research it myself to be 100% sure.

Just had a quick Google, it seems that whole colonies can not be imported but queens attendants and other package bees can be. I was looking at the USDA website and it seems to be bees from NZ and Canada that are allowed in, others can only land in the US to be shipped on to another country. I also so that it mentions airports not sea ports so maybe change seaports to airports.

Lol. You know, I almost added in airport but I assumed since it was an enclosed mode of transport and effect oxygen.... along with altitude, that it wouldn't be an option. So airports it is then, lol. Good researching.

I appreciate others ideas. But I have an awful hard time seeing them bundle 70k+ square mile states. There's no incentive for them to do it that way. At all.

They could combine the maps, but then players would wonder why Washington and Oregon were not bundled.
Re: The Dakotas (North and South) Discussion Thread
Obviously, because they aren't the Dakotas. We could see a bundle similarly with the Carolinas. But the Pacific Northwest bundle already exists.

Same with the Virginias. They all just kinda go, lol. The Carolinas and Virginias are both smaller than Colorado/Wyoming. The Dakotas on the other hand is a bit more but even both of them are actually smaller than Montana sq miles wise. https://www.thetruesize.com/#?borders=1 ... I just don't know if the Dakota's can stand up solidly individually.
