Problems with job and other markers think of the refuel markers etc.

I have been playing ets2 for a nice while now I have a good 1000 hours in the game and I have a problem,
I can't see the markers of the jobs anymore I mean those green things, I have already reinstalled the game. I have already updated I have already searched on google but can't find a solution anywhere, anyone have any ideas?
i can take jobs and then drive them it's just a problem that i don't know where to stand to see what jobs the company has available and then i don't know where to park my truck
I suspect that there is something missing in my config.cfg file but what I have no idea
I will put the file here below as a text file, I hope someone has a solution
the problem is not that i have mods or something because when i play truckers mp then i have the same problem

That's the wrong config file. You want the config file from your profile directory and it will have the following parameter in it.

uset g_show_game_elements "1"

No you should open the config file that already has this in it and change the value to 1.
The config file is in your profile directory.

I cant find it and i add the new line to a config file but it dont make sense

Look for folder "profiles" in your ETS 2 folder, in "Documents". The profiles itself will have funny names, but if you have more then one, you should be able to choose the last used one by date. It will be the newest. Therein, you will find another "config.cfg". That's the one to use.

If you add the line to config you have, it won't get read as it doesn't belong there.

Your profile directory will be something like:
If you use steam cloud:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<numbers>\227300\remote\profiles\<profileid>

If you don't use steam cloud:

\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles

you can also just type it in the console when you are in-game, it is easier than messing around in the files.
