XBOX Series X Controller + Steam Input = No rumble on ETS2, but available on ATS

Hi,

Per subject, that's what happens. If I just use the default Steam Input setting for my XBOX Series X controller, rumble works on ATS, but nothing comes up on ETS2.
I cannot enable anything on the ingame controller setting, as it only displays keyboard and mouse there. Gamepad settings seems to be handled exclusively through Steam.

What can I do to enjoy rumble/vibration on this controller on ETS2?
