Peformance Problem in ATS and ETS2

I did a trip on the Iberia DLC as a test, but it also happens in other areas of the map, always at night and near cities or major junctions, everything is fine on the highway and suddenly until I pass the area the fps drop from fixed to 60 FPS at 40 - 45 (sometimes even 35). Once past the zone everything goes back to 60 FPS.

During the day no problem except for some slight lowering of the frame but nothing relevant.

No mod installed in this profile, the profile is valilla....

My pc specs are:

CPU: Intel I7 7740X 4.30Ghz
Ram: 32GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080
Windows 10 (Updated)


I think the problem is to be found in some assets or at this point the game graphics engine, surely being on a 1 core cannot process the frames, they should insert multicore support.

since 1.46 release im playing around with settings ingame and my GPU drivers because i cant play without getting stutters and frame drops, what i found now is that Fast Sync is a compromise for me because GSync/Freesync will not work correctly (thank you not Nvidia ), maybe it will help some people, i caped my game at 120fps and let fast sync do its job and now i get anywhere from 60 to 120fps and no tearing, but maybe a bit input lag

since the Feldbinder DLC came out i play ETS again and guess what, no problems at all, the game runs butter smooth in comparison to ATS where i have stutters/frame drops because of the AI

I also have a similar problem. When I play, my video card works around 70% and the game only does 60 fps.
In my computer I have: rtx 3070, r7 5700g and 16GB of ram DDR4 3200 MHz
Do you know how to help me?

Start by the very fact of being sure you are running your RAM at 3200 speed. One thing it the nominal max rated speed on the package and a complete different thing is that your computer is setup to run it at that speed. This fact is specially crucial with Ryzen CPUs like yours.

Yes if you have a multicore CPU with a low clockspeed this game is not for you
Above 3 Ghz you should be fine

Sure lets alienate the majority of players because we have too modern hardware? are you serious, lol? SCS could on the other hand actually make sure their game engine is up to date and capable of modern hardware regardless of the different components, i should not have to be a PC expert or have to build a specific PC only to play games from SCS. No thanks, i play many other more demanding games with no issues on my PC, SCS can move into the 21st. century.

I have the same problem with performance in ETS2 updated 2.12.2022. PC I5 4670K~4,2GHz, 16 GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz, RX6600XT 8GB (usage in game cpu 45-60%, gpu 65-75%, ram total usage 8,1GB (ETS2 3,921GB)) 3x1920x1080 60Hz, and 30 -34 FPS and work like in slow motion, but sometime goes up to 60 fps, but is smooth only when hits 60fps, for some couple seconds, and get back to slow 30FPS in every place on map - in cities, outside cities, on straight roads, crossroads, night, day, etc. Huge drop of performance shows after I instaled iberia dlc. Befor it was normal over 100fps and lower in cities, but still over 70-75. I try reduce graphics, turn off/on vsync, and only turnoff vsync gets 100% usage gpu in menu and over 1700fps, but when get back to game - cockpit usage reduce to 65-70% and fps drop to 30-4 fps. My obserwation is when I in cockpit or behind car (cam 2) fps is low and looks like slow motion, but camera next to left front wheel (cam 7) is still 60 fps.
I.e. road from Sevilla A4, near befor - just piece straight road before crossroad with A-66 is 60fps, but when drive on crossroad its get down to 30 fps, and after that when drive after this crosroads - AP4 to south its again 60 fps, next to crossroad with 44 gets down slowly to 45 fps, and next when some buildings in area then drops to 30 fps -thats all on cockpit camera, when swith to pront left wheel (cam 7) its 60 fps. And its that it, one time 60 fps, and 1 second later 30fps and slow motion - even blinkers "click" about 2 seconds. Maybe its a clue.
