Switzerland Rework Discussion
Re: Switzerland Rework Discussion
Janaff, I think there is a bigger chance to get a connection from Switzerland to Liechtenstein.
Than from Austria to Liechtenstein.
Atleast I can not see any border controls between Switzerland to Liechtenstein.
But I can see controls between Austria and Liechtenstein.
And between Liechtenstein and Austria.
Even tho those controls are small.
Some other tolls, are bigger.
The tolls from Switzerland to Italy and France.
LegoTechnicFanBoi, possible, but not easy.

You will be surprised, but Promods has Andorra and it fits into the scale very well.
I translate via Google Translate. Sometimes he does it badly. I beg understand and forgive.

Andorra is a different type of beast.
It lies in the middle of an empty space (in ETS) in the Pyrenees. So it's not probable, but it's possible. Just another tunnel to add.
I often went to the Punt de Trobada to buy record at bargain prices. Anyone remembers Alan Parson's Project ?

I think Liechtenstein is possible to get squeezed in. However, while SCS could do it while remaking Switzerland, I doubt they're gonna bother to do it. I'd be pleasantly surprised if they did, but my expecation is that at best, Promods may have a crack at it and include it there. Still, one could have fun to imagine how SCS Liechtenstein could look like, so...
Here is a Google map I just made showcasing how a SCS-made Liechtenstein could look like. As a quick disclaimer, I'd expect Vaduz to be listed on the map with Schaan being featured as a scenery town/"suburb", simply cuz it's the capital, and I assume capitals get priority over cities that are technically larger? Not that I can think of an example that has occured in ETS2 or ATS, but anyway. Also, I believe due to scale, only one interchange from the Swiss side could be used as access, with me picking the Sevelen one as it's used for accessing Vaduz and is signposted as such (might reduce confusion unless SCS decides to fictionalize the signage to show Vaduz over Schaan, which is pretty likely, but still, I wouldn't want them to resort to that when possible).

Re: Switzerland Rework Discussion
If Liechtenstein is only to be accessed from Switzerland, then I really like that design. The only example of a country being included without the capital is probably base map Italy and Poland before Italia/Going East, and that's very obviously a different case than this.
I think if you have a road going from Switzerland to Austria, then focusing on Schaan is the right call. If you decide to make it only accessible from Switzerland however, then Vaduz + Schaan like your map is a good alternative.

Picture No 2 is another view of the Pont du Mont-Blanc:

Image 3 is most likely somewhere in this location (it is an old picture and the roads don't match up, but the Piaget HQ is in frame):

Re: Switzerland Rework Discussion
They've updated the flags on the bridge it seems!
Image 4 is Gare de Geneve
Image 5 is here
Not certain, but Image 6 might be here
Image 7 is probably here
Update:
Image 1 is in the same spot as Christmas image 1, most likely located here. I think it is safe to definitively confirm the location now, as the building has been updated to have signage for a bank, just like in the real world.
