Re: Switzerland Rework Discussion
I think they reserved A9 for a future blog because It might come as a part a potential Furka pass blog, passing through the famous location shown below. There's a weak chance of getting Route 19 connecting A9 and A2.

Yesterday's blog has basically confirmed we're getting that road at least until the A2. I don't know if they will continue to Chur and the A13 but It would make sense at that point, would be pretty cool to go from one side of Switzerland to the other through mountain roads and passes.harishw8r wrote: ↑31 Mar 2023 07:32 I think they reserved A9 for a future blog because It might come as a part a potential Furka pass blog, passing through the famous location shown below. interesting it's the same picture of the Christmas stream but with a lot more detail

In this difference, it becomes noticeable how they approach the development of maps. For some reason, they removed the trees behind the building, which are in the IRL

The only other thing I could think of that could reasonably be included alongside the A9 in a blog is Lausanne. At this point, it has to be included at least as a scenic city in order to make the A1/A9 interchange look realistic. I still have some doubts that SCS has added a new city to Switzerland (mainly that they haven't yet included any images or even hints in their blogs that suggest or imply that more marked cities are coming.
Meanwhile, I believe that Images #8 and #9 may be located around the town of Bourg-St Pierre. However, (again due to scaling), some things might look a bit out of place and condensed.

I made a screenshot of a clip from the video which shows the settlement from one particular angle. I've located where the 2 images are shot from and labelled the following:
Red: North Entrance to Grand St Bernard Tunnel (see Image #7)
Orange: Saint-Pierre Church
Yellow: Confluence of the Valsorey and Drance d'Entremont streams.

I hope/wish to get route 19, all the way from A9 to A13.harishw8r wrote: ↑31 Mar 2023 07:32 I think they reserved A9 for a future blog because It might come as a part a potential Furka pass blog, passing through the famous location shown below. Right. I saw the social media video just recently and it’s already there! Now I really want them to map the road for its full length.BRCKHMPTN wrote: ↑31 Mar 2023 08:32

Also, I wish they went back and rework those three northern Italy cities.

Re: Switzerland Rework Discussion
Yesterday I crossed the old Switzerland for the last time, the feeling and the difference when I went from there to Austria could not be compared, I can't wait to go from the new Switzerland to the new Austria
