SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

57x Extra 5th Wheel Option (28/09/2022)(1.45)

As with the other mods I've made, this is a minimal one, it adds a slid forward fifth wheel option for 6x2 and 6x4 long chassis

Thank you! Until we get sliding fifth wheels (if ever), mods like this are hugely helpful.

Could you consider the Anthem next?

Even though to many it might seem like a small change that you can barely notice, for me this is a game changer, thank you so much man! that big gap between cab and trailer was the one thing I hated about the 57X

It's actually "slide", not "slid", in this context.
You can write almost any way you want, and you might make yourself understood.
But, if you don't use standard English properly, you would also help people understand that you aren't well educated.

iceCat3003, good evening. Can I ask you to make the chassis with the seat retracted to the last position, and the cables as close to the cab as possible? In general, the same chassis that you did for Cascadia for ETS 2.
And is it possible to move the cables along with the platform closer to the cab?

Moving the cables more could make them clip with the cab, I'll see tomorrow maybe

It took me awhile to understand what you were saying due to lack of using quotation marks. I had to go back and reread the context of the original post to figure out what you were trying to say, and now I see it. You were trying to say, "It has been slid forward. Not "it has been slide forward." "

When I first read the post, I thought it was a mod that allowed you to choose which position you wanted the fifth wheel, not that it was permanently moved forward.
You can write almost any way you want, and you might make yourself understood.

Yeah, there is no current way to slide fifth wheels in game. SCS hasn't added the functionality, and the game offers no way for modders to make their own animations from what I can tell. It would have to be bound to an existing one like a window or the air suspension.
