Now since St. Louis is such a great big city, I am thinking of two locations for a garage or even 3.

Garage idea 1 located at Lindbergh (US 67 and Washington)
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.584564, ... FQAw%3D%3D

Garage idea number 2 located at Meramec Station Road at Big Bend
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5672663 ... FQAw%3D%3D

Also look at 615 S. New Ballas Road, although not much room for many trucks, but the maintenance bay at the hospital could serve as a single truck garage and space for a couple of others.

Now for a complete list of ideas for businesses to be put into St. Louis, here is what I think should be in there:

KSDK Channel 5 (5 On Your side) which is located on Market Street between 10th and 11th Street, as the truck entrance is on Walnut Street close to 11th Street. Ideal for paper deliveries, food and beverage deliveries and electronics deliveries. Freight provided would be empty pallets, waste paper and used packaging.

Federal Reserve Bank which is located between 4th and Broadway. The truck entrance is on 4th Street just north of what is now Federal Reserve Plaza. Federal Reserve Plaza used to be a portion of Locust. Same kind of freight.

With the old Court House still being renovated, this could be a grand thing to put into the game as to where the players can deliver freight to a place that is being renovated.

West Port Plaza located at Page and I-270. Even with 270 out of the game, the gold tower could still be reached. The main service road that comes off of West Port Plaza Drive at Fee Fee Road does allow trucks as there is a dock that is housed under the indoor mall area. The dock serves 8 or 9 different buildings all at this great big complex. So for the amount of freight would have this place to be pretty busy.

Now if you want to give it a shot on having a deliverable hospital, Barnes Hospital at Washington University in the Central West End may be one of the biggest. As the hospital complex may have a variety of places to allow trucks to unload at.

Bussen Quarries either south of I-255 or south of I-44. Both of Bussen's locations have underground loading and unloading areas.

Fenton seems to be a trucker's paradise as there is CIT trucks which is a Kenworth dealer, plus along Assembly Parkway, there are several corporations including a new Grey Eagle warehouse. There is even a Sell Goods warehouse. Between the Meramec River and Bowles on I-44 is a service road that is now accessible by Fenton Legostics Drive and that is Mraz Lane. Mraz lane is a service road as it was built for motorists to turn around for like if they are heading west on 44, coming from areas like Downtown St. Louis, and they want to go to something like Fabic Tractor. This way, they don't have to all the way to Bowles. Road Ranger does have parking for at least 24 trucks.

Now here are some grand ideas for truck stops in Kirkwood.

Here is the one on the northeastern section of the I-44/US 67 interchange:
https://www.google.com/maps/@38.5621187 ... FQAw%3D%3D

Now Woodbine Center and Pioneer Place might not serve very well as overnight rest stops, but it may be suitable to allow trucks to pull off the road and stop for an hour using the clock in the game.

Woodbine Center:

Pioneer Place:

Players would have to judge how much space is in the lot.

My main focus for Missouri is fixing the roads on the Oklahoma side coming in. The 412 cloverleaf and the US 60 cloverleaf should not be so nicely lined up; US 60 is more to the right, requiring a realignment, and US 69 needs a HUGE realignment going through I-44 twice; adding US 60 into a proper T intersection with US 69 and driving them to the cloverleaf together is an appropriate fix before finalizing the US 60 section of Missouri. We know US 60 is there; we see the sign signalling it on the cloverleaf. I'll leave other bits regarding Oklahoma's US 60 for a later post; I think it can be added to the Oklahoma map without too much hassle and even add a new city to the economy that can deliver to Missouri either via this road or dipping onto the I-44. US 69 is the big rework.

Taking a quick peek, looks like Monett is the first place along US 60 worth looking at, though still under 10,000 people. They also have a motor speedway. New truck racing course? It also goes through Republic, the first place along the route in Missouri with a substantial population. It runs as a freeway south of Springfield so I can see it being a good truck route. It continues this way and forms the I-57 at the interchange with I-55, and continues into Illinois near US 62, but leaves I-57 literally a mile in and heads to Kentucky concurrent with US 62 (we'll worry about that in Illinois). Sikeston of 15,000 people is near this point and a likely Missouri terminus for all roads so we may not see I-57 until we get into Illinois, where it has a good run. I suggest US 60 becoming I-57 as a potential terminus point and developing the highway portion immediately past right away for devcam users as I believe this highway will be mandatory for Illinois.

I can see Republic being overlooked because of Springfield, but hope it gets its own economy status as we would then have two cities able to travel back to Oklahoma.

Now just to fix the Oklahoma side...

As far as we know, US-60 is not coming west of Springfield MO. Certainly not between Enid and US-69 either. There's just not room for the US-69 to Springfield segment because it would require an exit off of I-49, and the Joplin to Springdale section of I-49 is really short in-game so adding another "scene" so to speak would shorten it even more and I'm already concerned that there won't be room for the cool rocks that they had to cut through to build the freeway on I-49 near the MO-AR border and the mountainous terrain nearby as it is. You can see the map sectors currently visible in the map editor here in Spooks' signature: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=222458

It's also wayyyyyyyy too late for massive research tips like this, the DLC is coming soon.

Oh, is it next up? Interesting.

Well, guess I will focus on US 60 rework in Oklahoma then. Lots of places it can be added without trouble and even add a city. LOL

(Also, to be fair, I joined the forum last month, so I'm still getting my feet wet. LOL)

Missouri is likely coming within the next 1-2, maybe 1-3 months. The Kansas team is working on it, and Kansas came out in November 2023. The common speculation was that Missouri was gonna come late 2024, but given how the DLCs are taking longer nowadays due to the extra detail and uniqueness that they're adding into them, it coming instead in early 2025 should have been predictable but I think the fan base is still getting used to the longer dev times.

US-60 I don't see how it could possibly be added given that Tulsa extends so far north. Plus I don't think I'd even want US-60 without Bartlesville and Bartlesville definitely won't fit. US-60 was a road I was really pushing for before Oklahoma released, but the way they ended up implementing Oklahoma makes it nearly impossible to add now.

I think the most reasonable road to maybe someday get added to Oklahoma is US-59 from I-40 to US-412. We have both ends in the game already and there should be room for it. US-60 would require a ton of rework and IMO there's a lot of other more important missing roads that would require less work.

Tulsa has been made to take up space it doesn't take up IRL. Roads could easily be rerouted to be part of US 60 without too much trouble up there; the only real trouble would be changing one interchange and adding a second one to add the entire road, and I concede that this segment of US 60 might not be very important. My focus is west of US 75 and an interchange there, mainly. US 69 does need to be reworked, however, and a blocked off US 60 could fit in with the rework since it takes the east/west path anyway. Would be nice to link US 59 to it as well.

I do find it strange that they would show US 60 suddenly sprouting on US 69 unannounced, showing it going off the map, and not include any of it until it becomes a freeway in Springfield. Players like those nice country drives, so I would guess this is a good one to connect back into Oklahoma. Of course, they could force players along a tolled I-44 instead, and I really dislike forcing tolls and not giving the option. Just my take. (Though yes, you can fool the toll readers into not reading you...) I personally would like to see another racing course added along US 60 in Missouri, but that's me, again. :)

I have to agree with oldmanclippy 100%. Like I mentioned, we talked about US-60 a ton while Oklahoma was in development, we didn't get it and it definitely won't fit without a massive rework. They will not rework Oklahoma at his point. Maybe 10+ years from now but its too new to go messing around with. That is asking for WAYYYY to much. I'd honestly give up the thought. Its not happening and its a waste of time at this point. That team has moved on to give us Arkansas and now they are doing Louisiana. I'd rather them go to Mississippi next than to rework Oklahoma. What we got is what we got for now.

I'm not trying to sound like a butt or anything, but one person advocating about US-60 is not going to bring change. If you have 100s of people complaining about US-60 like when the community stood together with YS / Cody / US-14 and I-44 in OKC, then you have a shot. But if you noticed, no one is talking about US-60 in Oklahoma anymore. We did that, didn't come so we moved on. You have to learn where to pick your battles.

I recommend to go into the map editor or at least use the dev cam to check out how restrictive the terrain is where US-60 would need to route. Sometimes thing will not line up. They do have to shift things that are not realistic just to get something else to fit. Cities will shift. Its not always a deal breaker to have things off a bit. Don't put so much focus on looking at the UI map. In game is what matters. Shifted things is nature of the beast at 1:20.
