While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

The Grimes compatibility addons have been dropped and you don't need them anymore. Weather 3.5 works without them.

I assume if I’m subscribed on steam I don’t need to put any additional files on top for 3.5.1?

Yep, you will how to redownload the mod though. So if you are lazy, you can download this local patch and load it above 3.5 instead.

I think it is necessary to retain this. Take winter as an example, it only snows when the temperature is below zero.

It's raining instead of snowing on Grimes's mod.

@NotBritish453

I have weather3.5.1 on top of Frosty Winter with a snowflake addon from Avelium.

Load order:
Snowflake addon
Frosty winter
weather3.5.1

Works like a charm, still the drops appear kinda look like a normal rain, but this is because SCS changed something related to the rain texture. (As Avelium said)
