Automatic Blinker Turn Off

#1 Post by INSTG8R » 01 Oct 2022 19:30

I am finding it very ineffective especially in comparison to ATS I am using a G920 Wheel+Shifter. I use the wheel paddles for my right and left signals if that matters.
It just doesn't seem to cancel the signals when re-centering the wheel as it does in ATS. I would say I am running nearly identical settings, perhaps in a copy of the Controls.sii file tho that may have been done many updates ago. regardless I run identical control schemes in both games.
Would it actually be worth trying to copy my ATS Control-sii file over to ETS to see if it improves it?

Yes, but make a backup first.

Good point. I’ve just been bouncing back and force doing a job in one and the other and just finding myself resetting my signals in ETS manually way more often. I will backup my files amd do a swap and see if there is indeed a difference.

It may be a silly question, but did you make sure you have the "automatic indicator" (or whatever it's called option in Gameplay -> Truck options checked?
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

I mean obviously or I wouldn't be comparing the differences in the effectiveness.

Okay quick update copied my ATS controls over to ETS and they seem to be "back to normal"
Really the problem with my ETS is it's basically a mess of profiles because I've been playing so long. Actually finding my current one was a chore. I dare not delete what I know are technically "garbage" files at this point but regardless I feel like the control copy did the trick.
