Yes it should, certainly for mouse+keyboard players, as an accessibility gameplay feature.

Real vehicles are designed such that you can turn the front wheels, turn your head (for looking around), control turn signals etc., and control the throttle; everything at the same time, completely independently of each other. Keyboard players can't do that. And those players who have motor/dexterity issues with their hands are able to do less at the same time still. Since this is a computer game, which is commonly controlled with keyboard+mouse by all sorts of people, it should accommodate this input mode, and also accommodate player health issues as far as practical. This includes allowing the CC to engage at slower speeds, at least when the input is mouse+keyboard, but perhaps ideally with an option that players can toggle themselves to whatever they prefer.

If you don't play with a steering wheel, realism is out the door anyway, so that's no argument not to allow CC at slower speeds.

Ah, the one past the truck stop? Nice! Removing its XXX barriers was long overdue—although I'm surprised to see it's not a hidden road.

oldmanclippy wrote: 04 Oct 2022 15:40 There's also two viewpoints in the CA rework, unless I missed that from 1.45. Or maybe they just got set back to undiscovered?
In 1.45, the only viewpoint I see in the state of California is the one on US 199, which I think continues to be part of the Oregon DLC.

The company browser seems like an excellent idea. This info was already available on the wiki thanks to the work of @Tristman and others, but it's great to have it available right in the game in a map view with filters.

Indeed. I made this suggestion here. Even though it's unclear where they got the idea from, I hope we'll see more variants of the existing vehicles :)
EDIT: Does sb has a pic of the new bus? Not found it yet :o

It sounds so good! According to what Max told me, this is a sound that SCS recorded from some real US roads when they were on this side of the pond earlier this year for that truck show in Canada.
That picture looks familiar.

And as far as my ears can tell, the tire sound also changed... It now sounds more similar to Kriechbaum's mod but with the volume toned down.
