(update) Weather_3.1

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

300+ skybox all in 8k, size 21mb, clear sky, cloudy sky, fog, compatible with all map mods, no need to extract just put it in the mod folder. have a good time :)

Weather 3.0, it was completely redone, new lighting from scs, improved skybox, new skybox, I removed some repeated skybox, there are 351 skybox, default night from scs, with stars and moon
updates: 09/04/2024 update: Weather 3.1: removes several cloudy skyboxes, and added new skyboxes, now the sun hides behind the clouds, it's not perfect, the brightness of sunsets and dawns is improved, new Addons, Weather_3.1_new lighting, changes the game's lighting , and makes the night darker. I added the 16k version

This Mod is incredible !!! Already using it for ATS since i saw it in ETS2 section of the forum, and man, its beautiful. :)
I might get easily frustrated and say something wrong on occasion, but I never really mean it. Please do what I often cant, dont take it too personal. And please forgive me. Thanks guys. :)

Are these the same exact files that you had posted on the ETS2 side of things? If they are then I will not need to redownload. Amazing mod!

Yes, just dont use the "Fix" or the "Fog" or "Grimes" addon, those are only for ETS2. Although thats the question. since the Grimes graphics mods are also for ATS, shouldnt then the same Add-On also apply to ATS ?

I suppose you'll make the addons for Grimes' spring, summer and autumn mod some time later? @juninho944

Right now, temperature still gets overwritten.

You have to forgive me, i know its OffTopic, but why iy it important at all how much degrees it is outside your truck, or even inside? Realizing that it is a Simulator game that maybe a stupid question, but so in my eyes is the need to see that in a game. 😉

Your truck wont start any less if it's +20 or -10, because again, it's just a game. A temperature indication od the outside environment seems not to be relevant for me. 😉 I suppose that's different for you, although I dont get it really.

But then I only play this game for enjoyment, and that it is for me, immensly even. So I probably wouldnt get the relevance for something like that.

True, my truck will start whether temperature is realistic or not. However I just think, that weather mods such as these, while making the game look and feel more realistic should not omit the temperature part.

Me personally, I absolutely love that immersion, and I just appreciate Grimes' mods for doing this. There's no other mod that does this! It's a small part of the gameplay, that doesn't really do much, yes, but still adds to a realism feeling.
