Which surprised me a lot, because these problems are already old. For example, at the Truckstop in Aurora, Colorado, in front of the International branch, and at this point the stuttering practically disappeared. As they appeared directly and at night, the test I think was consistent with letting the game flow normally and not seeing them.
You can enforce the rain with g_set_weather 1.. and change time with g_set_time.
I'll test it at home tonight. Here I pass the feedback. And you, how are the performance tests?

It is working great for me, with default traffic I am not getting under 55. When I enforce denser traffic it will still sometimes dip a bit lower, but fps graph is still smoother compared to the state before.

I'm having this issue too, but not only in Texas, pretty much everywhere.
I narrowed it down to lighting .. as soon as lights go on and you get close to a gas station, rests top, city with lots of lights, billboards etc. my frames drop to around 45-50.
I have locked my frames to 60 .... running on a 3080ti with an Intel Core i9-9900K and 32GB RAM ... so something is defenitely fishy.
The problems started for me with the lighting upgrade in 1.40 ... so it is defenitely the lighting.

SCS have applied optimisations in 1.47 that seem to have reduced these issues.

I've just found another place that drops. In Houston. Since SCS are applying these optimizations in the next version, is it worth reporting them here ?

I think not. "Optimization" applies to the entire game, not to a specific location on the map. At least that's my guess, but I don't think that in patch 1.47 SCS completely reworked all cities to improve performance.

@Zuz If you don't report it, it will not be corrected.....:) Others have noticed the improvement in areas in 1.47 beta where they were experiencing problems....:)

Ok. I've also been told to report them on this thread.

FPS dropping at night [Houston]
Game Version 1.46.4.1s (64 Bit)
FPS drops at night 8 - 9 PM Game Time ;[31/03/2023 20:19:00] (sec+0001+0012);5696.47;4.36718;51488.8;-0.0883572;-0.052032
Windows 11 Home.
Specs are Ryzen 5 5600X, MSI Gaming Z Trio 3070, 16 Gb System, Gen 4 SSD M2 1TB.

NO MODS.

Running at 300% scaling and Medium AA. SSAO is OFF. Weather is Medium. V-Sync is locked at 60 FPS. Mirror Res on Medium. Everything else pretty much high.

Sorry about the Gamelog as I had to make a Screen Shot so it's dated for today.

Also, sorry about the co-ordinates I was a little too slow with the F11. But It's close. (In the Truck Stop).

Started when approaching the circled area from the bottom of the map. Went down to about 55 (maybe less) FPS. Turned Left into the Truck Stop, Where the pointer is, FPS still dropped.

I will try to reproduce here with my system. Since optimizing the beta, the game has been running smoother. Only if I put mirrors on high and turn on ssao, the game tends to stutter sometimes. But using ultra, 300 scale, aa on ultra, it's running comfortably now.
SSAO for me makes the game a little ugly, and I don't care about the mirrors in ultra.
