Construction Simulator on the website has a road map section with all the new features coming out soon , the ones planned and the ones they are discussing , it would be nice if they do the same thing

I wish SCS would do something similar. It seems as though everything is a secret, and expectations naturally balloon into a much bigger deal than they are.

We don't need exact dates, just approximate ranges, and we don't need tons of details, just more than we have now.

On the topic of Construction Sim, though, I wish SCS's devs would play that game just for a bit to see the cargo system they have and some of the features. The ability to haul what you want within the limitations of a slot-based cargo system is pretty incredible, and would be welcomed here. They also support a lot of keyboard and joystick functions for trucks and machines (so modders and players don't have to rely on window keybinds to animate things like a dump bed), and they have given players the ability to share a company in mp, which is far preferable to just seeing another truck drive around.

CS also has a passenger mode in MP to allow friends to share a vehicle, and the default company headquarters displays the player's company name when assigned. You can see approximately 20 of your own vehicles at once at this facility, and interact with multiple functional trailers at a time, even haul your trucks on your trailers. And best of all, when you deliver cargo, it actually shows up on the ground, again in a slot. You feel like you're moving stuff around, rather than just hauling numbers.

and have the same nonsense as the Rigid blog that was only a concept of how it can be done and not that it will come in the near future, also let us not forget the Renault T that was shown (or the TGX EL2/3) that only came 4!! years later, ofc but saying nothing ballons up the expectations

The road map looks like a piece of garbage and says absolute nothing about future development and releases

This community can not be trusted with early information about what future features SCS is working on, they tried it before and people were never happy with it and always got angry at SCS for not delivering things when those people wanted, they will not go back to that if that old blog about rigids and the new MAN are anything to go by.

+1 (forbidden by the rules).
So, wait, and maybe see...
BUT I don't see what rigids and MAN have to do with ATS.

The point is that SCS teased/shared information early about those 2 things and people have been asking non stop about it on anything SCS posts anywhere, be the blog, social media or YouTube, people never shut up about it and always annoy SCS with the same thing.

That’s a different Pandora’s box. This one is just about ACS teased some future content and took a long time to release for whatever reasons. The ones that fall into this umbrella would be: Renault T, TGX EL2, TGX EL3, Iberia and HoR. Right now, the new TGX and Volvo VNL are also teased and people are gonna be impatient about it till they are released and criticise if it takes time.

Not to mention the mental gymnastics done by some to see the content ‘they’ like.
