Re: unormalized vertexcolor
this is not a good solution, some mesh can have custom baked AO that is then lost if you delete the col layer

Re: unormalized vertexcolor
I know, there is no good solution.
You just have to redo an AO texture.

Re: unormalized vertexcolor
you can lighten/darken the vertex colors if it is custom bakes, if it is just solid it can be made new

Re: unormalized vertexcolor
There is better solution which don't require deleting vertex layers.
Just select the object which have vertex color lighter than 0.5. Then switch into Vertex Paint.
On the top banner under SCS Tools you will see vertex paint attributes with color picker.
Click on it and change "V" value to 0.5.
Click on Object Data Properties on right part of the screen and click on "Col" then hit keyboard shortcut "Shift+K", the "Col" layer is painted now to 0.5.
Repeat same step for "Col_alpha".
To see the vertex color change of the model just switch into Viewport Shading

Re: unormalized vertexcolor
again, this will delete any custom baked AO on models that are not solid color, wich is a big part

Re: unormalized vertexcolor
I think AO baking in blender is useless where the game have it's built in SSAO.
Re: unormalized vertexcolor
No, it's not useless.
Turn off ssao and see how the models look like.
In showroom ssao doesn't work too.
And I create the ui_shadow texture with blender
