Driver seen in the outside shots

What kind of driver do they call it if is a truck driver seen from the outside cutscenes like at the truck dealership or alongside the highway? I know that there is one as for now that is the default driver. In the former "Hands on the wheel" mod, someone called it the "inside" driver. But i am not sure if that is the name that it is called or what.
