This is incredible!
Just imagine if we finally had rigid frame support.

Re: [REL] Driveable AI!
I'm enjoying this mod, I've been using the F150, and going from Vancouver, BC to Lupkin, TX.
My only feedback I have is that I'm using the police wheels, and in the rain I get extreme amounts of understeer. I had a similar problem with 50k's wheelpack, and I fixed that there by setting the wet grip above 1.

Not another steam workshop mod! I hate steam workshop, it uninstalls any mods I subscribe to. You need to make this mod somewhere else as well, not just the steam workshop.
Nothing to say here anymore.

Re: [REL] Driveable AI!
I'll take a look. I haven't adjusted much of the tire settings, but I did also notice this a while back when I was testing with friends on a heavy haul escort. Wish SCS would give us an actual non-wet tire grip parameter. Glad you enjoy it!LeafeonGold wrote: 23 Dec 2022 20:18 I'm enjoying this mod, I've been using the F150, and going from Vancouver, BC to Lupkin, TX.

Re: [REL] Driveable AI!
Unfortunately I won't be using anything other than the steam workshop because of it being a pain otherwise to update, then there's also people who will inevitably complain about some issue that was fixed in a more recent version of the mod than they have, etc. If the Workshop doesn't work for you normally, I'd suggest using a steam workshop downloader to get the files, then pop those into your mod folder. Just don't forget to check for updates either in here or the Workshop page, as I will be periodically adding vehicles!Calibuddy99 wrote: 23 Dec 2022 20:40 Not another steam workshop mod! Re: [REL] Driveable AI!
Also, was curious if you were going to set up the vehicles so that the engines can be chassis specific or not. Another thing about my trip in the F150 is that I was getting really poor fuel economy (~6 mpg the whole trip) and was going to adjust it for myself, but I saw that the whole model branch uses one engine, so it would also affect the Explorer, Super Duty, and Crown Vic too.

Re: [REL] Driveable AI!
Well, the problem with the fuel economy stuff is that this game simulates diesel engines, not tiny gas engines. It makes balancing the actual acceleration performance specs with fuel stuff difficult, and currently it's a rather large fuel tank with the minimum volume engine allowed (6 liters). I will try playing around the the consumption_coef value, if you mess with it and find a value that works do let me know! As for the single engine affecting all vehicles thing, I am debating whether to make it more realistic with the correct engines vs. a semi-cheesed pickup diesel generic for each. I have started already doing that on newer vehicles, so i'll probably do the realistic option if I can.

Re: [REL] Driveable AI!
Update
3 New vehicles!
- Ford Transit(all variants/paints)
- GMC Sierra HD
- Jeep Wrangler(all variants)
All vehicles have also been given a custom paintjob UV map, which can be found in the google drive link either in the initial message on this forum or in the Steam Workshop page.
Misc:
Added more wet_grip to all tires, should understeer a LOT less in rain now.
Minor wheel system overhaul, your vehicle's wheels may fallback to different ones than you selected.
