Can anyone see any problem with this jpg (attached), as I just cannot get it to show up in the manager screen?
And this is where it's located inside the mod zip
Any clues or tips would be much appreciated,as I've almost figured out my first mod

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: Mod manager image not displaying?
Is the image sized correctly? Should be 276x162 I believe. Also do you have it listed correctly in the manifest.sii?
Re: Mod manager image not displaying?
The image for the Mod Manager needs to have the dimensions of 276x162 with a .JPG extension.
There may be a 12-character limit for the filename of the image, but I am not 100% certain on that.
It would fit the rest of SCS Software's naming schemes, though, to have such a limit for the icon.
All unit names in the game's files have a maximum length of 12 characters.
It may also be that the game does not like hyphens in the names of files like that.

Re: Mod manager image not displaying?
image is sized correctly and name is listed correctly in the manifest file, the only thing I've noticed with other peoples mods is that they always seem to be less than 19kb filesize...
Thanks for the tip on the filename KrysEmlyn, I'll try that next...
Cheers for the quick replies people!

Re: Mod manager image not displaying?
Just changed the filename to 'Betterstars' (11 characters and no specials) and it works
Big thanks to you two for the help! and no thanks to the SCS wiki for not helping!

Re: Mod manager image not displaying?
I was intrigued...
"SoMe-long-name.jpg" doesn't work. But
"SoMe_long_name.jpg" works.
So it's not related to the 12 character limit as elsewhere, but to the "-" in the filename.
SCS has issues with "-", but likes "_". See also in the naming of units in all these .sii/.sui files: Do not even think about using "-" there .
