I'll gladly show you but I have a busy day so don't expect it sooner than later tomorrow. For the moment I can say a little more than a single road but without visualizing it's hard to explain.

Well here it is. Dark dots are from the dds file found somewhere on the forums. The lines are obviously roads, don't mind the abcd markers because it's just from the google maps tool

Beyond that, maybe towards Lofoten and Skarsvag but I'm not sure on that.

I would be surprised to not get to Nordkapp since they took a research photo from there. Then again they also took a research photo on the Norwegian/Finnish border so maybe that's a poor argument

Hmm, that's, close to more optimistic than I would be.
Narvik to Moskenes "or Å", that is forgotten, in my opinion.
Sveg to Hamar? Wouldn't it rather be Sveg to.. Alvdal?
But if I am a little bit pessimistic, then maybe SCS won't add Hudiksvall to Alvdal route at all.

One forgotten road connection Örebro to Falun. Bergslagsdiagonalen.
Regarding E16 to E6, via Alvdal, there I think the route would be https://www.google.com/maps/dir/60.1939 ... ?entry=ttu instead.

I'm quite sure that Nordkapp will be scenery.

There might be deadspots, about the size of the smaller WB states, in that map. And I am not even talking about the Sarek National Park and surroundings here.
Wouldn't it be nice, if there were some far away depots there instead? That would be realistic too.

Those that do not like small roads, they will most likely not like this map DLC.

Yes I agree, it would be a shame to not map that part of Finland at least. That small stretch of road through Finland will make the far north of Norway more accessible from Sweden.

I was referring to the research photo they took here: https://www.google.com/maps/@69.3985623 ... 384!8i8192 Which would be outside the scope of a Norway/Sweden DLC.

I just picked the main roads, so the two N-S through Sweden, one through Norway and then 5 W-E, and then tried to connect the dots from that map file without making too large detours between towns. The slightly thicker lines are exactly that.
And slightly denser Southern Norway and Eastern Sweden compensate for the emptiness of the north and midde of the peninsula. If some towns are cut from the file in favor of something further north, I'm fine with it.

What I'm wondering about the expansion of Scandinavia is will there be at least a partial reskin of the old territories?...

I guess yes, new expansions usually reworked some parts of old territories or added something new (Paris with Vive La France, Milan with Italia, 2 new French cities with Iberia, Trieste with West Balkans) so North Scandinavia also may rework some parts of the Scandinavia DLC. I think we might get Oslo, Bergen and Uppsala rework.

Bits of places leading to connections to the new dlc parts, at most. So northernmost roads in Scandinavia dlc. Definitely not Denmark or southern Sweden.
