I share your opinion, gentlemen, I myself search and travel only long routes, but finding such a route is a nightmare. Reis_6, I join your request.

Thank you @kry1 for your support.
I know that the SCS has its departments and things more important needs more assistance and it turns out that they are quite busy. But one thing I don't understand is why World of Trucks is still an Alpha tool and why we still don't have a team dedicated to listening to players who only drive with WoTr jobs.

From the dates and number of posts/views in this thread, you can see that our voice here on the forum is still not making any noise, even though the World of Trucks ranking in my signatures (ets2.online and the ranking here on the forum by donfede) shows that player number 1000, the last in the ranking, has 1. 393,000km... in other words, more than 1000 players over the million km mark... and unfortunately we have to make do with a few events and that seems to be it... the World of Trucks tool becomes shallow.

Tagging the forum staff here doesn't do much good either. We don't know if we're being listened to or if we can expect anything, because they rarely appear here in this part of the forum.

@DisgruntledTrucker its the most active guy from SCS that I see appearing here on the forum, and @morrelo have some connection with rankings and World of Trucks because he is from Trucksbook team... or was...

I find hard to believe that after all these years we are still dealing with the same old problem from years and years ago.

WoTR has to be the most overlooked "department" from both games, all we get are periodic events that are, essentially, not very different from previous ones... And some people question why a certain community goal takes ages to be reached. If I remember correctly, it's been 10 years since it's introduction and we are still no further along feature wise than we were 10 years ago...

Give us a dispatcher and I'm pretty sure you guys won't hear a peep from us regarding WoTR, ever again. That's a tool that would literally solve 100% of our problems... The missing cargos for more specialized trailers, the missing long cargos.. Everything.

Lately I have been refraining myself from being harsh on criticism but this time, it ain't easy, specially when they keep cranking out bare boned events one after the other instead of delving deep into what players want. But I believe in giving credit where is due.. Winterland was a very nice event that really set itself apart from others and what we need is for whoever is responsible for WoTR to KEEP giving as much attention to other features and they did to Winterland, as possible.

Btw, we are still waiting for the VTC system that Pavel said it was one of the planned additions soon after Convoy's introduction.

WOTR definitely isn't overlooked. The team has a lot on their table, and as priorities evolve and change, sometimes we can't always deliver in the timeline we aim for. This is the reason we generally stray away from definitive release dates to begin with. We'd rather release a polished product than a rushed one. I did speak with the WOTR team about this, and they're actively working on some significant upgrades. They're also happy to hear that there is demand for new features and events. We're really hoping you guys will be happy with the new updates when they arrive, but unfortunately, as you know, I can't say when that may be.

I should like to echo the words of 55sixxx in this connection., thanks for the feedback Mark.

Sorry for the 'anger', it's just that sometimes SCS's argument that them only release something when it's polished gets lost in time. If you go to the previous page and look at #17, it was published in 2022...

But we understand the current situation. It really is better to release something when it's very close to happening than to raise hopes with something that can never happen. Thanks again for your feedback.

I can just confirm that what was already said before - i´m sometimes searching 30-40 minutes for an above 4400km freight job in ETS2 and had to give up because there is no one currently available. That may be caused in case of the huge amount of "new joined" players from the WoTr rankings. As I see often the situation that those jobs are available at early european time region - about 4 or 5am but at my playing time - european time between 6pm and 2am those are very rare. I hope for an improvement too. Thanks in advance!

WoW ...
One of my favorite features of these games is World of Trucks, I became obsessed with the challenged of long haul jobs, but now is so hard to to get any job longer than 3,500 Kms, on either ATS or ETS2, that I basically I stopped doing jobs out of frustration ...
Checking this post, which have been for years ... its seems SCS will never address this ... despite the fact the solution seems simple ... just enable the Dispatcher, which it seems won't be that hard, even enable the job finder that once existed on World of Trucks.
As these games are becoming very popular, even without the planned console release, I have the idea that this will make finding longer jobs even harder. Not sure why most jobs on World of Truck are around 800kms of length.
Other "fix" could be a check, setting or preference on World of Truck to prefer/show/filter jobs of a particular length, as not all player likes that kind of jobs.
One of the main complain for both games, ATS and ETS2, is there are a few broken things in the game; most of them can be fixed/addressed by mods, but World of Truck, no mod can fix this basic problem.
Not complaining about the speed limits, I uses traffic mods that make dangerous driving at high speed anyway.

Why is it so difficult to find long jobs that exceed 5,000 km?

There is one from Malaga to Narvik that is exactly 5,000 km.
But apparently, this is the longest job in World of Trucks.
In the normal game market, offline jobs, there are jobs that reach 5,400 km. Honningsvag to Algeciras, for example.

Is there a chance that World of Trucks will undergo some kind of “reset” to include these long hauls?

That would require someone from SCS to be actively working on WOT for something other than basic maintenance and setting up events and there's no evidence of this.
I mean the site is still labelled as being an 'Alpha' build 15 years later. And simply removing the alpha tag would only take a few minutes, but even that is apparently too much effort.
