(WIP) Northern California Expansion

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Yeah, I'll be doing that along with adding red bluff into the game.
Awesome!

Here's my idea if it is helpful.

1. Is the big curve leaving Ashland. It's going uphill and to the left (southbound irl)

2. Is the big curve crossing from Cali into Oregon. It's going downhill and to the right (southbound irl)

3. Is the long downhill to the inspection station. It's several miles of downgrade to the booth. Technically, this area would be flipped irl (southbound would go right/straight instead of left), but the downhill is what matters most.

This design would eliminate Hilt, but it would add a hint at the tallest spot on I-5. I think we could do without Hilt for that purpose.

Hilt isn't necessary in the game anyway in the first place because it's just a small town with a few delivery points. I'll make sure to implement that.
Nothing to say here anymore.

Yeah, in comparison to the missed mountain, it's not necessary for sure.

Well, as a Cali fan, consider me interested. Unfortunately, I've never managed to get even close to learning the map editor...

Corning already exists in the game, but it's not marked on the map.

I can't wait for this mod to come out, it will really open a lot of the state up and make it more fun to drive through with more cities to go to and more highways to travel on!

Development update! I'm currently working on an idea I want to implement into the mod. It will be a small modification for the city of Redding. This idea is to first, extend State route 44 by adding one more exit, And, add the Freeway section of State Route 299. In the current version of the game, State Route 299 as it leaves redding towards the east is not a freeway, and in real life, it is. In this mod, I want to move the areas north of Sacramento upward by a little bit, so I have room to add the other areas. So far, my development is around 45% Of the way to release. The Mod will be coming very soon. Most likely in just another month or 2. I can't wait to see if you enjoy it or not.
