^Agreed. Paccar missed a golden opportunity with the NG's and covid in full swing at the time. Virtual presentation would have been great to put the visuals of the NGs out there. Better late than never though. If I had to guess, I'd say the T680 first as it seems that SCS has a closer relationship with Kenworth.

On the same note, had SCS made both NGs, the ETS2 crowd would have blown SCS's lid without trucks. So I suppose everything happens for a reason. I know people don't like it but it might not be too bad to fast track the 2 NGs. Make there high end sleeper first and complete the trucks later. It didn't take long at all to get the rest of the 49x. With the capacity SCS has now, it wouldn't be too bad imo. Do the opposite of the 49x that brought the daycab first. That happened because of the time crunch to sync the debut. But there is no debut for the NGs as they are already out. If both NGs are fast tracked, both provide working models to rebuild the older gens as well. I don't think SCS needs to redo the AI traffic models though. Let those be. Only rework the old gen player version and call it a day.

I have a hunch there will be a Mack Pinnacle next, then followed by the next gen 579.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

On one of the trips to the US, I believe the penultimate one, the SCS was to Mack's Headquarters and they recorded sounds from a Mack Pinnacle. It could have just been to be new sounds for Anthem or it really could be Pinnacle.

I also believe the Pinnacle could be next and then one of the NG trucks, most likely the T680 to complete the 100th Anniversary edition twins, but as usual, anything can happen in the next 7 months, we could have 2 more trucks this year.

Sadly they didn't care a thing about 5700XE about sounds.

Its not quite June yet so I can see this possibility. The best options in this case is the Pinnacle, HX and/or the 389 reworked. Not to mention the W900 tuning pack. With the capacity up, I think we are in for a good ride. With every interview that SCS does on streams, the question that is always asked "what is your favorite part about SCS". Its always the same answer........the people. That is huge. I for one know how important it is to work in an office with 1) people you like and 2) doing what makes you happy. SCS seems to have a culture that is likeable so hopefully people stick around to keep bringing us more content; new, reworked and improved content.

I definitely wouldn't rule out 2 more truck projects this year. I'm hoping its a new truck and go ahead and knock out the a reworked 389. If a tuning pack for both it and the W900 are in before 2024 ends, that is a good deal. Only more stuff can come in the future.

With Volvo finally out of the way It's high time Peterbilt gets some due love!! Since July they did the Volvo picture modeling stuff.. October revealed Pete stuff and it took about 9 months to do Volvo.... August later-ish September should be when we get some goodies and hopefully a remaster P389! I'm stoked.

Volvo got a ton of customize options along with W900 so with Peterbilt being the ultimate tricked out truck in U.S I sure hope the Tuning pack gives those classics the love it deserves

That's assuming Peterbilt approves of a tuning pack. SCS can't add one if they are not allowed to. We will only know that on a case by case situation. It would be disappointing if Peterbilt doesn't allow them but nothing SCS can do if they are told no.

Yes I forget all the red tape and let my hopes get the best of me, as I've said in the Pete thread it's clear they'll never be as close as KW WS or International in terms of relationship so we'll just see what happens.

But I believe my prediction is going to happen.. Oklahoma happens 2.0 Texas and a big Peterbilt reveal.. It's far to much of a coincidence with how things are lining up like so neatly.
