Next In-Production ATS truck speculation
Re: Next In-Production ATS truck speculation
The problem with renaming the old thread though is someone has to keep up with it. When a person loses interest in the game, they don't come here anymore. The moderators were doing it for the last poll but they have other task and hundreds of threads to look after. When the o.p. doesn't do it then the thread doesn't get updated. Polls are iffy. Especially ones that require updates. If the o.p. isn't around to do it, the poll doesn't get updated as it should. Most people see me here daily so it kinda makes sense for a regular that is active regularly to run polls that need maintenance.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Next In-Production ATS truck speculation
My picks:
Volvo VNL - 2018: We know it's under development. I don't know if it is the next one to be released for ATS, but for sure it's in the near-close future.
Volvo VNR/VNX: I go for the VNX more than VNR. I would love to see more heavy-duty truckls into the game. Plus, if it shares cabin with the VNL, it's easier to release.
Mack Pinnacle: I think the Pinnacle is one highly requested. THe interior is shared with the Anthem and in that one it's wonderfully made, so it's easier to say it can be a serious candidate in the close future.
International HX: Knowing how the relationship is with Navistar and since it shares the interior with other International Trucks already in the game, the HX is the missing one from the current line of International to be into the game. They where the first ones to reach the 3 models in the game and a Out of Production one too... can International be the first to reach the 4 models?
For PACCAR brand models, I think more of them as a 2024-2025 timeline. For sure they are working doing the revamp of the current ones released for the upcoming Tuning Pack, but I don't know how it's stage of the devleopment of the trucks. I think it's pretty early.
Toiday Freightliner released the Super Truck II. Maybe it comes out of nowhere during this year or next one, seeing how things are with DTNA.
EDIT: Didn't know the Super Truck was a concept. My bad.

@Graf_Boinenn It was said the super truck is just a concept truck. Not a production truck.
Re: Next In-Production ATS truck speculation
Supertrucks are always concept trucks.
Re: Next In-Production ATS truck speculation
My vote goes for the VNL, Pinnacle and the HX, one of those could come out at any point this year, i believe the new PACCAR trucks are at least one year away.

I think we'll get a 'shared parts' truck next, then the VNL later this year. I say most likely the Intl HX, or maybe the Mack Pinnacle.
Re: Next In-Production ATS truck speculation
I think we have a solid chance of getting the face-lift LT before the next new model. I just hope we get both the old and face-lift LT in traffic.
If vehicle capacity is up, we'll really see some movement the next couple of years.

For next up, it's a toss up between pinnacle or VNL.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

What about the Kenworth T800 or W900L?
I also would like to drive the Kenworth C500, despite it is not an on-highway truck.
