Biggest reason SCS had issues early for ATS in getting licenses. They are doing it the right way now.
But yes, SCS obviously prioritizes trucks that are in production (and this is their choice, because there are games that have licenced classic trucks - Farming Sim '22 has a classic Mack and 1980s Volvo F16, while Snowrunner has classic Freightliners, Internationals and Western Stars so - contrary to what some people say - there are companies that are willing to licence classic trucks)
