Thank you again for the replies and information. It is greatly appreciated, it helps me make several decisions. I've been looking for and watching videos, as well.

I got a PXN9 on EBay and use the ETS configuration works really well. Easy to set up and I can adjust it on my phone so I can make adjustments as needed while driving in the game.

Just the steering wheel? I've not heard much about that company, but amazon pushes it.

I've looked on evilbay, not much luck, there's some real insane crap there, like unbelievable shipping prices, as much as $150 shipping. I quit using evilbay for a long time, but my second wife bought a couple of things from there, so I look every so often, at least just to get an idea on some stuff. Wow. Just. Wow.

Logitech G29 with h-pattern shifter is on special at the moment for AUD357. (The upper limit of what i can afford.)

Is there anything better for similar money?

I have the PXN V9, been using it for 2 years with no problems, it has no FB but it does vibrate, I got mine for 150 at Amazon for the time it was the cheapest I can find, right now it goes for 125 from the PXN store. Here is a quick review I did with it 2 years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU9fCByB4vg

TM T248 (because of hall sensors instead of pots) without motor and belt (because the resistance friction from belt was super annoying). I loose resistance and FB but happy with that, it's like a faming sim wheel with super good resolution. Fun fact, you can manually calibrate it which is not possible with logitech (I've tinkered with both). It will happily wait indefinitely until you do it, and no noisy auto calibration when starting computer.

I've made genuine shifters from/for both scania, man, eaton. Both electronic and hall sensor based ones. But using my own arduino panel now with [M + - D N R] button panel addon for real auto, inspired by mDrive.
