I'm trying to continue Nautofon's city locations project on the wiki, as I play both ATS and ETS2.
I'm so happy to hear you're writing location descriptions for both games!

I had always hoped that somebody would have a go at ETS2, which I don't even have a copy of, but the whole idea is so niche that I didn't think it'd ever happen.
However, I have one important ask: Please don't use the name "Company/Facility Directory" for anything related to the wiki. The wiki term you're looking for is "city location descriptions". The reason why this is really important to me is mentioned on my
wiki user pages, along with some of the unfortunate history around that distinction. At the time, I came up with the name C/FD for my own project specifically to have a clean break from the wiki.
I should also point out that the
copyright licenses of the wiki and the C/FD are
currently incompatible. This means that it's not allowed to copy anything from the C/FD to either wiki, nor vice versa. Not that I'm suggesting you copied anything!

I just want to state the situation clearly to avoid any possible misunderstanding by anyone who reads this thread.
All that said, I fully support your efforts and wish you success!
Not to go too far off topic in this thread, but since you asked for feedback, let me just briefly say: The issue with lack of street names you mention is something I encountered in ATS, too. Back when I still contributed to the wiki, I recorded some thoughts on how to deal with that in the
guidelines for city location descriptions.
Since you mention Oslo, let me give an example for that city: In Billingstad, I would try to make clear to the reader that they need to go
west when leaving the highway, and then which way they need to turn in this particular roundabout:
truckermudgeon.github.io?mlat=60.074&mlon=9.766. That's the important bit; armed with that info, people should be able to find the locations, easy. I might try wording it like "Norrfood:
Southwest of E18 exit 17, west in Oslo". But this kind of thing is easier in ATS because of the pervasive signage of cardinal directions, which is rare in Europe. So yes, lack of signage can certainly be a challenge...
