Re: GPU 100% Use with an Titan X
people should srsly stop to "recommend" undercloking GPUs, you payed an absurd amount of money for it and then you castrate it because some said "it is overlocked", Nvidia GPUs (and AMD also i think) clock themselves as high as they can, the moment you "underclock" it, it will just overclock itself right back and over factory specs if temperature and power limit allow it
underclocking a GPUs is NOT the solution just because a game runs not good at all, it should only be done as a last resort and when a game is unplayable because the GPU drivers crash constantly and it cant be solved via driver reinstalation
the error shown may indicate faulty drivers, wiping them completely with DDU and reinstalling them should be done, if the newest dont work roll back to the last signed WHQL Game Ready drivers for the GPU

Only idea but try studio driver instead of game driver it may work and are running any back ground apps etc
Re: GPU 100% Use with an Titan X
Isn't the meaning of these messages
Code: Select all
00:55:00.410 : <ERROR> [dx11] error creating render target view
00:55:00.410 : <ERROR> [dx11] meta_copy: failed to create SRV (0x887a0005)
Or are you talking about the exact visuals you described?
Re: GPU 100% Use with an Titan X
I run the game with fresh updated drivers, everything is clean, ATS/ETS2 are the 2 only game who crash like that. GTA V, WRC, F1 2022, BeamNG etc etc no problam at allxXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑23 Mar 2023 18:07

Just check on google and you will see the problem appear with no reason and there's no solution for it. Others games works really fine and as I said i play with that Computer since 5-6 years without any problems. My GPU work well, so it's to SCS Software to do something because something is broken in this game

3070ti is a very powerful card. I upgraded from 1050 desktop but never had a crash on my old pc.

Except that there are reports of the given error code for a whole variety of different games: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/fo ... e-removed/
Cheers, Steve
Re: GPU 100% Use with an Titan X
@xXCARL1992Xx And there's been numerous instances on these forums of people underclocking their GPU and that causing the issue to go away.
And if someone tries it and it doesn't work, what have they lost?

Re: GPU 100% Use with an Titan X
putting oil consonantly into your car instead of changing it also works but you shouldnt do it, Windows has no tools provided, same as Nvidia to do this band aid solution, so people have to search for programs and can download crap that will be more harmful then helpful, people should just keep away from over/under clocking their GPU if they are not doing benchmarking or trying to appear on some rang listing, the GPU will regulate itself, especially because it will overclock itself again the moment a 3D application is running, so nothing was gained with the placebo effect, and even if this was the case (which it isnt as also Steve Pitts shows) everybody with a GPU would have this problem, doesnt matter if it is from Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, or even Nvidia themselves, the problem are the drivers, not the game and not an "overclock" on a GPU or else my system would also crash because it is "overclocked"
