Show an hourglass before loading a savegame

Maybe it's because I have all the DLCs for ATS, but when I go into the screen to load a savegame and press the Load button, the screen freezes for more than a minute before going to the load screen (with the yellow progress bar). Nothing happens in that time, I cannot move the mouse, the music keeps playing.
I thought the game crashed the first few times this happened.

It would be nice to have some sort of indication that something is happening. Maybe make the mousepointer into an hourglass.
Or look into why it takes more than a minute before a savegame starts to load. I don't think it's my system, I have an SSD and when the savegame starts loading, it takes a few seconds.

A look into the game log would tell much more than an hourglass. You may want to post your log from such a slow game load.

Sounds like this bug report. The game log might confirm whether it's the same issue.

When I understand it correctly, that topic is about unnecessary route caching recalculation. Which happens while the first loading screen bar is already two-third done.

This one is about a stall before the first loading screen even appears. Which I never experienced, and have no clue what could cause it.

I just tried it myself, and there wasn't much happening in my log at that point:

The way I read it, that other report is about both issues. As it happens, I also experience both issues on my system, but it doesn't bother me enough to actually look into it. Just thought the OP's text here sounded familiar is all...

I see this problem under following conditions:
1.) Its only ATS, not ETS2
2.) Its (if I remember right) till the Wyoming or Texas DLC..if you reload a saved game it lasts very long AND if you leave game and restart new it does an additional reload of the map

You see its an old problem which isnt important enough to get repaired as I believe..and beside that little disturbances its really not so annoying so all fine with your site, its normal

Correct. I didn't dug deep enough.

As I don't have the problems, I conclude it is really happening in context with the Texas DLC, which I don't own.

Right. I do have Texas. And these issues did start last November, around the time 1.46 and Texas released, so these problems aren't that old—though it is surprising that neither one of them was fixed yet in 1.47.
