@JoeAlex23 You know that's a bit strange dont ya think? The Internationals have separate hoods while trucks like Anthem and Cascadia don't. So The lonestar has it but the Anthem doesn't yet The Lonestar came first before the Anthem arrived. I swear that's a bit strange .-.

Idk, that might be just a personal preference of the 3D artist that created the truck, they are not all made by the same person AFAIK, but is not a big deal, is not that hard to fix, just time consuming, and that could be a good excuse to separate the tanks from the chassis like they have been doing since the LT, it REALLY annoys me that the 49X has like 25 chassis configurations just because of the fuel tanks. 😂

Well if the reworked W900 and the 5700 are fairly simple that is great. That means that 2023 trucks had it in mind and it was a project that would come on something this year to test before slapping it on everything. I could be wrong here but if the 2023 trucks are up first for the upgrade, Sweet. I'll try it on the W900.

This is a small thing maybe but I think we need the truck weight info (with empty or full tanks) on dealers and services. We have tare weights of trailers. To find the legal payload in the game, one have to fill up their thanks and scale with an empty trailer and subtract the result from 80,000 lbs. I don't know how many other people care about this but I don't haul cargoes that may exceed GVWR, even though you don't get ticketed for being overweight.

And hopefully someday being overweight and fined makes its way to the game. No real validation to weigh stations nor scales unless there's a penalty behind them. We'd need a way to be overweight by our doing is what's missing. Perhaps start with boxed trailers first and go from there. We still don't have details about 1.48 at this point. Game engine update arriving...or later? We don't know. Even when the game engine update arrives, no clue how detailed it will be from the start. One thing for sure is if its to come this year whether 1.48 or 1.49, it would have to be stable enough in order to release the 1.48/1.49 map dlc's that are set to release this year. Otherwise those dlc's will suffer if people get crashes left and right. 1.47 would have been perfect for the game engine update as there's no map dlc with it. A great chance to have several months to iron out the kinks. Its one thing to be tested by SCS but its another being tested by the community.

I hope we get the next phase of California, and I know it’s wishful thinking but it is almost June, so it would be a pleasant suprise.

I'd honestly be more surprised to not get phase 3 with 1.48. Its been more than a year since phase 2. With even 6 months of a replenished rebuilt team, it should be enough progress to get something for phase 3. Yet alone the few that have stayed on the project which is only about 2 people. For the areas almost completed that didn't make it for phase 2, at least you'd think they'd make it out within a year. There's no time table for rebuilds but considering they are phased and much smaller than a map dlc, one would imagine that something gets pushed out within 12 months for a rebuild regardless. The ETS2 rebuilds are about the size of California phases somewhat and they are rolling. California should probably be on pace with that.

Yeah I do agree. I mean with all the time and if they had San Francisco mostly done then it’s mostly roads reworked. I mean if it was the phase from the Grapevine down to San Diego I can understand it taking longer as Los Angeles will be a lot of work.

I'm hoping they dipped into covering half of Central California for phase 3 at least. Seems like tgey will cover border to the coast.

One thing is clear that Caliform Phase 3 is big minimal to Fresno, although if it was after Bakersfield, it is safe to say that the last phase of California would be the fourth and California would be completely reworked (just like Germany, the reworking of the cities can count as the fourth and the final version of the revision of Germany)
