I'm sorry, maybe I didn't understand it somehow.
But is it possible to calculate the limits of the NM peak zone and maximum speed based on the known engine speeds in the game and the transmission?

One simple lifehack I got with RPM.
If you use 315/70 tires, 6.5 differential ratio and direct (1.0) gear, you will be running 1000 RPM at 30 kmh. Very approximate but might be useful.
Next calculations may be done with multiplications: 3.25 diff 1.0 gear = 1000 RPM at 60 kmh, and 2000 RPM at 120 kmh.
Just keep in mind it's all linear. You can also calculate such for each gear, diff_ratio*gear_ratio=reduction. It's all the same reduction where I said 6.5 reduction = 30 kmh at 1000 RPM.

There are still no better practical tests.
It's just that electric trucks will be introduced here sometime.

Why not? They have all the same RPMs and reductions too - calculate them exactly the same way.
