(UPDATED 19.06.2026) Better Raindrops v2.1.19 [ETS2 v1.60]

Small update to Base mod and Snowflakes addon.

Changes:
- Improved rain particles behavior
- Reduced spawn intensity for raindrops

It should make rain sensor more reliable, but to be honest it made automatic wipers just a tiny bit better. Still an improvement

Hi, thanks for the update. But I just remembered two things:
1. I'm using Better Raindrops along with the Truck addon. Perhaps you should update your Truck addon as well?

2. The automatic wiper issue I mentioned earlier only appears in version 1.57. From version 1.56 downwards, I haven't recorded any cases on any trucks.

Truck Addon is already updated, it does not have rain files, only truck interior configs and 3d models, which mean Truck Addon can be used with any other weather mod ^^

That's because rain bugs in 1.57 is a hardcoded problem within game code, and unfortunately modders can't fix such issues

It's incredible how much better this mod looks than the vanilla rain. It's not just the droplets, the rain particles outside the track look like rain instead of the current flat white stripes. I have been playing since 2012, and the rain has always been poor. To be honest, I can’t understand why it hasn’t been seriously improved since then, because it is clearly possible. With the truck add-on, I actually need to be careful and respect the rainy conditions.

You only need Snowflake addon with grimes, disable Better Raindrops.

@Avelium which files are needed to fix latest issue with low numbers of raindrop on windshield? Just the files related to numbers, not for textures etc.
