(UPDATED 19.06.2026) Better Raindrops v2.1.19 [ETS2 v1.60]

Hey, I've just found out about this addon of yours. You've said you'll update better flares for 1.59, what about this? Does this need to be updated too or is it still compatible?

Current version should work fine with 1.59, but I'm working on update and plan to release it after Better Flares.

Mod is updated to game version 1.59.

Changes:
- Increased number of raindrops to 100,000
- Reduced raindrops size and tweaked their physics
- Slightly rebalanced rain audio and cabin equalizer (truck cabin "soundproof" effect)
- Improved side window masks for all SCS trucks
- Slightly increased water splashes from vehicle wheels

Have a nice game and let me know if you'll find any issues!

P.S. The game engine currently supports very large numbers of raindrops, so you can experiment with drop_count_per_meter and set it 200,000 or even bigger (be careful though as it might hurt game performance)

One question: Did you remove the truck add-on? I can't find it anymore, but I'd imagine it became somehow obsolete due to the increase in the number of raindrops.

You're welcome! And yes, you are correct about Truck AddonI It's not needed unless SCS decides to lower raindrop limit

Thanks again for the confirmation. After a few hours, I have to say that the updated version feels like the perfect balance between the previous version and the added raindrops from the Truck Addon. I also like the updated visual features. Great job!
