My game will take a good while to update (slow PC and thanks SCS for making the game 19gbs), can anyone confirm if the 6x4 config has full painted sideskirts?

Re: MAN Trucks Discussion Thread
I'm surprised this thread hadn't existed yet, I suppose the ETS2 side is just quieter.
The truck looks great and I like that they added the 8x4 chassis and the heavy duty bumper. Only negative from the stream is no analog dashboard. Looking forward to trying it out.
But yeah the old MAN reworks/refreshes (SiSL explicitly said that they might not be full reworks a la the W900) are what I'm looking forward to the most. Especially now that there is no analog dash on the new MAN.

I don't like how I feel inside. Just like 5700ex in ATS, everything looks gigantic inside and I have to pump up the FOV to 75 to have a resemblance of the feeling I have in any other new truck at 65 degrees. And no, I'm not gonna use 75 degrees FOV.

Re: MAN Trucks Discussion Thread
i have big doubts MAN would over a painted blind spot sensor option, the paint would intervene with it, there is a reason why Mercedes has a warning moulded into the casing of their sensor

Really? It would be a pity, the old tgx is very very horrible, nothing from it can be saved. The tgx euro 6 is mediocre but still far betteroldmanclippy wrote: ↑16 May 2023 17:11 .

Well his wording was:
In the context of contrasting the treatment of the old MANs to the FH rework, then yeah it sounds like in December at least the plan was refresh not remake.Let me give some good news then? Consider it post-stream news:
Actually FH model you have seen in the stream is rebuild. We are remaking latest FH16 along with facelift options. So expect full model change.
Old MANs (yes plural) will be also to touched if not remade and get some love they long deserved

Re: MAN Trucks Discussion Thread
Old TGX model is straight from the GTS/UKTS, it might've been okay by 2010 standards but no amount of refresh will help it. Same with old Iveco Stralis, also a GTS carryover, both models need to be redone from scratch (I'd like to see Iveco rework - that way SCS could add some quality Iveco truck even if they can't get licence for a newer ones)

"If not remade"
Re: MAN Trucks Discussion Thread
I've driven old TGX for a while, it didn't feel like it was made 13 years ago. There are worse trucks. From the old ones, it felt like the best of them.
